Costa Book Awards 2008

The Book Fair is coming

The Scholastic Book Fair will be in the HCC library from Wednesday 26 November to Tuesday 2 December between 3 and 4 pm everyday. Come and choose from a fantastic range of books. Click on the link to the right to buy a gift voucher.

Buckingham Primary School visit

On Thursday we were delighted to welcome to the library Mrs Caroline Boyle and some Year 6 students from nearby Buckingham Primary School. Mrs Boyle had kindly presented us with a voucher to purchase some books for the library. The books were chosen by Year 7 students who had attended Buckingham and Mrs Boyle came to formally present them. The Buckingham students then had a tour of the library guided by Year 7.

Booked Up

The wonderful Booked Up books have now been safely delivered to all our Year 7 students. HCC's most popular choice was Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy. Why not visit the Booked Up website and add a review of your book?
